The global box office collection of *Pushpa 2: The Rule* with Allu Arjun has reached the state of saturation on Day 35 and has crossed an outstanding Collection of Rs 1830 crore. But the long expected release of the film’s extended version has been done which in one way or the other may limit its further box office success.
*Pushpa 2: The Rule* starring Allu Arjun is now the second highest grossing movie of all time with world wide collections crossing Rs 1830 crore on day 35. However, the delay in the release of the film extended version might have effects on the films future box office.
*Pushpa 2: Starring Allu Arjun, The Rule* has already become the second-highest grossing Indian movie of all time crossing the records of *Baahubali 2: The Conclusion*. The film which released in many languages has grossed over Rs 1831 crore worldwide and still counting in box office collection. It collected Rs 2.15 crore domestically on its 35th day in theatres, same as the collection it made on its 34th day. This has taken the domestic gross collection of the film to Rs 1213 crore, as per the data provided by industry tracker Sacnilk.
The makers of *Pushpa 2: The Rule* had earlier stated that a special version of the film would be released on the occasion of Sankranthi festival and that the film was 20 minutes longer than the regular versions. It was thought that this new version would generate repeat audience. But, because of some problems encountered in the encoding of content, the longer version will no longer come out as scheduled. However, the ‘Reloaded Version’ will now be released in theatres on January 17 next year.
*Pushpa 2: The Rule* has been out for more than a month and the closest competition received is far from any reputed firm. But with Shankar’s *Game Changer* featuring Ram Charan and Kiara Advani on the anvil, *Pushpa 2:* could lose out to it in terms of box office business. Also, the number of screens that will be given to Allu Arjun’s film might also be considerably less.
*Pushpa 2: The Rule* is now Rs 230 crore short of breaking *Dangal’s* record of Rs 2070 crore, the highest collection by any Indian film. The film could break this record if a few more international markets embrace the movie and if the people in Japan get to watch the extended cut of the film, but at the moment, its domestic earnings do seem to have peaked.
*Pushpa 2: The Rule* starring Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil was mainly shot in Telegu but the movie was released across India. The targeting of Hindi speaking states has paid off as the film has grossed nearly Rs 800 crore through its Hindi dubbed version. Surprisingly, the film has hence earned more in Hindi than it did in its original Telugu language version.
