India Women (IND-W) and the West Indies Women (WI-W) are all set to square off in the second ODI at the Kotambi Stadium in Vadodara on Tuesday, December 24. The Women in Blue are leading the three-match series 1-0 and will look to bag it with a game to spare on Tuesday.

After a 2-1 T20I series win, India started the 50-over leg on a stunning note as they inflicted a morale-crushing 211-run defeat on the West Indies in the first ODI. The in-form Smriti Mandhana top-scored with a 102-ball 91 to guide India to a massive total of 314/9 in their 50 overs. In reply, the tourists were blown away for 103 in 26.2 overs.

Renuka Singh was the pick of the bowlers as she scalped five wickets and conceded just 29 runs in 10 overs. She received decent support from her fellow bowlers as the Caribbean batters couldn't withstand the pressure exerted on them. Hayley Matthews and Co. will have to come up with better batting and bowling plans to keep themselves alive in the series.
